Mary Lou Dallinger, age 81, of Birchwood, WI formerly of Remington, IN, died Saturday, January 2, 2010 at the Heritage Manor in Rice Lake, WI.
She was born on November 13, 1928 in Fowler, IN to Bernard and Fern (Rosenbarger) Holtkamp. She attended and graduated from the Fowler High School. She was later married to Dale Dallinger on November 12, 1947 in Fowler.
Mary Lou was a clerk at Annis IGA and Carson Inn both in Remington, IN. She loved to play bingo and card club.
Mary Lou Dallinger is survived by her husband, Dale Dallinger of Birchwood, WI; 2 daughters, Vickie (Jerry) Wilder of Birchwood, WI and Susan Flickner (Ron Chirello) of Lombard, IL; also surviving are grandchildren, Derek (Jennie) Wilder, Deren Wilder, Karen Wilder, Sara (Edward) Houlihan, Nathan (Jasmine) Flickner, Lena Makielski; great-grandchildren are, Kylene, Courtney, Connor, Sidnie and Gunner Wilder, Makaila and Hunter Flickner, Cameron and Keenan Houlihan and Marek Makielski; a sister, Betty Porter of Remington, IN and a brother, Bill Holtkamp of Valparaiso, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Fern Holtkamp and a brother, Ray Holtkamp.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2 - 4 PM Saturday, January 9, 2010 at the Dale Dallinger home at N150 Limestone Lane, Birchwood, WI. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI.
Memorials appreciated to the Birchwood Senior Center or the Remington American Legion.
