BENSON, Leona A.
(September 3, 1915 - January 24, 2010)
Leona A. Benson, age 94, of Barron, WI, died Sunday, January 24, 2010 at the Luther Midelfort Northland Nursing Home.

She was born on September 3, 1915 in St. Paul, MN to Michael and Johanna (Strantz) Perrin. After Leona graduated from High School she was married to Harry Benson on August 30, 1938 in Waukegan, IL. They resided in Cameron, WI for many years.

Leona is survived by a daughter, Dianne Cecich of Crown Point, IN; 2 sons, Wayne Benson of Johnsburg, IL and Warner Benson of Forest Lake, MN; 5 grandchildren, Kim Cloutier, Mark Benson, Harry Benson, David Cecich and Steven Cecich; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Viola Willigman of Elgin, IL; and a brother, Laverne Perrin of WI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Benson in 1995.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
