SANDRIDGE, Frances A. (February 17, 1920 - January 26, 2010) Frances A. Sandridge, age 89, of Sarona, WI, died Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at the Lakeview Medical Center in Rice Lake. She was born on February 17, 1920 in Belleville, WI to Samuel and Kathryn (Disch) Zimmerman. Frances was married to Howard Sandridge on March 5, 1936 in Rockford, IL. They lived and farmed in Belleville, WI for a number of years prior to moving to Madison and retiring to Sarona, WI. She was a member of the Senior Center in Haugen, WI and loved Yahtzee, watching Soap Operas, Let’s Make a Deal and Wheel of Fortune. Frances is survived by a daughter, Jane (Wally) Wolff of Mikana, WI; 3 sons, Robert (Mary) Sands of Madison, WI, LeRoy (Virginia) Sandridge and Kenneth Sandridge both of Sarona, WI; 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren; a sister, Gladys Thiel of Eau Claire, WI and a brother, Walter Zimmerman of Madison, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Sandridge and a son, James Sandridge. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI, Rev. Donald Berry officiating.
