Joseph “Joe” Gregoire, age 57, of Rice Lake, WI died Sunday, April 25, 2010 at the Lakeview Medical Center in Rice Lake.
He was born on July 11, 1952 in Forest Lake, MN to Joseph and Luella (Rogalla) Gregoire. Joe graduated from the Forest Lake High School. He drove truck and owned & operated his own truck for over 27 years. He also farmed in Deer Park and Rice Lake, WI. Joe loved helping out his neighbors, gardening, hunting, fishing, fixing things, making birdfeeders and riding his motorcycle. He was married to Tess Snively on August 22, 2004. Enjoyed spending time with grandson, Anthony.
Joe Gregoire is survived by his wife, Tess Gregoire of Rice Lake, WI; a son and daughter-in-law, Tony & Jill Gregoire of Rice Lake, WI; 3 stepsons, Mike Davis of Rice Lake, WI, Chris Davis of Rice Lake, WI and Barry Dube of Sarasota, FL; a stepdaughter, Lisa Dube of Sarasota, FL; 7 grandchildren, Anthony, Brianna, Sable, Alexa, Dedra, Jessica and Jake; 2 brothers, Henry Gregoire of Mille Lacs, MN and James Gregoire of Forest Lake, MN; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by a stepson, Todd Dube; parents, Joseph and Luella Gregoire; and 2 sisters, Henrietta and Mary Lou.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Friday, April 30, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fr. James Powers officiating. Visitation will be from 4 - 8 PM Thursday at Appleyard's Home for Funerals and for 1 hour prior to the funeral at the Church.
