Bradley R. Johnson, age 56, of Cameron, WI died Monday, May 24, 2010 at his home.
He was born on March 12, 1954 in Hollywood, FL. Brad attended school in Rice Lake and then entered the United States Army and served in the Vietnam Era and was honorably discharged in 1975. During his lifetime he had 5 beautiful girls. He was married to Cathy “Cat” Russell on June 28, 2008 in Cameron. Brad worked hard all his life, for 17 years he was employed at Hanson’s Hardwoods. He hunted, fished, trapped and enjoyed the outdoors. Brad was like Jeremiah Johnson.
Brad Johnson is survived by his wife, Cathy “Cat” Johnson of Cameron, WI; 5 daughters, Jennifer Dostal of Rice Lake, WI, Heather Moser of Fort Worth, TX, Jessica Cress of Davenport, IA, Kimberly Quarters of New Auburn, WI and Katie Johnson of Pennsylvania; 9 grandchildren; his mother and stepfather, Beverly Joy & Gerald Prochazka of Marshall, WI; a brother, Dave Johnson of Dallas, WI; 2 sisters, Wendy Scott of Stafford, VA and Sandra Hansen of Crawfordville, FL; many nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Johnson; and a sister, Lucindi Schnoor.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, May 28, 2010 at Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI, Rev. Steve Svendsen officiating, with interment in Nora Cemetery where Full Military Rites will be accorded by the Rice Lake Veterans Center Honor Guard. Friends may call from 10 - 11 AM Friday at Appleyard's Home for Funerals.
