WILLIAMS, Dale S. (January 21, 1936 - May 27, 2010) Dale S. Williams, age 74, of Edgewater, WI, died Thursday, May 27, 2010 at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, WI, surrounded by his family. He was born January 21, 1936 in Rockford, IL to Raymond and Alyce Williams. He graduated from Rockford West High School. Dale was married to Janice Wolfe on March 30, 1957 in Rockford and worked as a tool and die maker there until 1968, when the family moved to Edgewater, WI, where they owned and operated Williams Cottages from 1968 to the present. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed trapping, fishing, hunting, golfing and the Green Bay Packers. Dale Williams is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Stewart & Nadine Williams of Rice Lake, WI; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles & Hope Williams of Rockford, IL and Ronald & Joyce Williams of Belvedere, IL; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Williams on July 27, 2008; and his parents, Raymond and Alyce Williams. A Memorial Service will be held 7:00 PM Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI, Rev. Steve Svendsen officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 - 7 PM Thursday at Appleyard's Home for Funerals.
