BAUER, Marvin E. (February 15, 1929 - May 30, 2010) Marvin E. Bauer, age 81, of Rice Lake, WI passed away Sunday, May 30, 2010 at his home. Mr. Bauer was born February 15, 1929 to Emil and Irene (Hiller) Bauer at Coleman, SD. He married Grace Huseman on February 22, 1948 at Newell, IA. In his early years he farmed and drove truck. They later moved to the Rice Lake area where they dairy farmed until his retirement. He loved visiting with family and friends, card playing, going to auctions and watching horse pulling. Marvin Bauer is survived by his wife, Grace Bauer of Rice Lake, WI; a son, Jerry (Marilyn) Bauer of Bozeman, MT; 2 daughters, Diane (Kirk) Hutchinson of Rice Lake, WI and Debra (David) Sutton of Buford, GA; 3 grandsons, Justin, Brandon and Shannon; twin granddaughters, Abbe and Jesse; a great-grandson, Carter and a great-granddaughter, Lexi; a sister, Betty Jean Raygor of Jefferson, IA; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Irene Bauer; 2 infant brothers and a grandson, Nathan. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, June 4, 2010 at the First Lutheran Church in Rice Lake, WI, Pastor Jerry Bernecker officiating, with interment in Orchard Beach Cemetery in Rice Lake. Friends may call from 5 - 8 PM Thursday and 10 - 11 AM Friday at the First Lutheran Church in Rice Lake.
